About Us

Valley Yoga provides an inviting and encouraging environment for the learning and practice of yoga. Our teaching approach is based on Classical Yoga which defines guidelines for safe and effective yoga exercises for all levels of ability. The practices can be profoundly integrating to the mind and body, yet they are simple. They can be uplifting and life-enhancing, yet are not religious. In addition to the opportunity for inner development, we also plan events with and for the Pioneer Valley community.

 

Social gatherings and outdoor activities are regularly offered as ways to have fun and build community. Students often begin yoga as a way to reduce stress and improve flexibility, and are surprised to be fulfilled in ways beyond their expectations.
