What Our 2016 Graduates Had to Say
"I expected YTT with YogaWorks to be an intense and life-changing experience, but the course exceeded even my high expectations. The training in anatomy, sequencing, philosophy, and alignment was so thorough and hands-on that I felt ready and very motivated to begin teaching almost immediately. The course was well organized with clear expectations, consistent review, and resources like online classes and comprehensive textbooks that I will rely on for years to come. The trainers were encouraging and knowledgeable, and the cameraderie with my fellow trainees has led to friendships I will always cherish."
"I joined the YTT with no particular expectations other than deepening my physical practice. After 20+ years of yoga practice I was surprised at how much additional knowledge I was able to add to my physical practice - things I'd been doing wrong for years, new tips for asanas not normally practiced, and a knowledge of why classes are sequenced in a certain order. In addition, however, I deepened my understanding of all of the other elements of yoga - sutras, meditation, anatomy. It was a tremendous amount of work but in the end well worth it."
"I took the teacher certification training as a way to deepen my practice. I had no idea when I started how much I would learn. This is definitely the best yoga experience I've ever had. Whether you want to teach or just want to understand the many parts of a rich yoga practice, this should go on your "Must Do" list! I am excited that Elizabeth Flint will be returning to St. Louis to offer additional workshops and the 2017 YTT. She is a gifted teacher!"
